KYCK 24 - In the Beginning
What: We will be heading to KYCK in the Blue Mountains to join thousands of other youth and be both challenged and equipped to boldly live the Christian life. There will be good food, Bible talks, games, and free time for the youth to get to know each other and grow their relationship with God. Click here to see the program.
Why: It will be a great opportunity for us to get away, spend some time with each other, have heaps of fun and be inspired by our great speakers to live our lives for Jesus.
Where: The conference will be held at the Katoomba Convention Centre (119 Cliff Dr, Katoomba NSW 2780), two hours west of church. Click here to see it on Google Maps.
When: Meet at St. John's Anglican Church (339A Maroubra Rd, Maroubra NSW 2035, click here to see on Google Maps) on Friday, 12th April at 3:30pm. We will be driving in leader's and parent’s cars departing outside church.
Pick up at St. John's at 3:30pm on Sunday 14th April.
Accommodation: We are staying at CCC Blue Mountains. The address is 3 Eltham Park Ave, Mount Victoria NSW 2786. Click here to see it on Google Maps.
Transport: Drop off at St. John's by 4pm, Friday 12th April.
We are leaving St John’s at 4:00pm on Friday 12th April (with the hope of missing most of the traffic) to get to CCC Blue Mountains to unload luggage. So, please try to arrive at SJM at 3:30pm. If you would like to drop off luggage to the church hall on Thursday 11th, please feel free to do so at the office between 9 and 3:30pm.
We are travelling up in cars driven by parent and leaders.

After arriving at CCC Blue Mountains on Friday night and unloading luggage, we'll head to KCC and return later that night. On Saturday we'll travel from CCC to KCC and back. On Sunday, we'll travel from CCC to KCC in the morning, and from KCC back to Sydney in the afternoon.
Cost: The total cost - $322pp. This covers transport ($10), Roast hats ($10), accommodation + meals ($178), KYCK early bird tickets ($91), and subsidising leaders' tickets ($33). This does not include Friday night dinner, please bring money to stop at McDonalds on the way.
If this cost affects whether your youth can attend, please let Ben know and we will find a sponsor. There are many people at church who'd love to help cover costs!
RSVP: We need to know if who's coming by Monday 25 March so that we can send numbers to CCC. If the cost makes this tricky for you, let Ben know if you're coming in the meantime just so that he can ensure a spot is kept for you. There are 29 spots for youth available.
