Roast Youth Camp Annual Weekend Away, Fri Aug 21st 5pm - Sun Aug 23rd 3pm, 2026
Theme: Youth Camp 2026 is officially on and the theme is IMPOSTER.
We are looking at the story of Moses in the book of Exodus. He was someone who spent years pretending to be someone else until God showed up.
If you are tired of putting on a fake avatar just to get through the week, this weekend is for you. God uses fakes to do real things.
What: We will be heading to Port Hacking to welcome our new year 6 Roasties, hear Bible talks, interspersed with food breaks, free time and other organised (and fun) activities.
Why: It will be a great opportunity for us to get away, welcome our new Roast members well, spend some time with each other, have heaps of fun and be inspired to live our lives for Jesus.
Where: The conference will be held at Telford and Skinner Cottage, Port Hacking, Youthworks Conference Centre, an hour south of Maroubra in good traffic.
When: Meet at SJM Church on Friday, 21st Aug at 5pm. We will be driving in leaders' and parents’ cars, departing outside the church. Pick up at Port Hacking Conference Centre on Sunday, 23rd Aug at 1pm, or from SJM at 3pm.
Cost: The early bird cost is $280. This covers accommodation, meals, activities, and subsidies for our leaders. However, this does not include Friday night dinner, so please bring money to stop at McDonald's on the way. The standard ticket price is $299.
